This is a Smash (single malt, single hops) recipe, with a little cheating–a tiny bit of Gambrinus honey malt. The hops are from my back yard.
My wife got me the coolest Christmas present: a home brew kit. It came with everything I’d need to get started. Even a kool-ade type brew kit. So began the Black Locust Brewing Company, named after the 100 year old black locust tree that graces our front yard and scares little kids on Halloween.
