Emily was named after a central character of Charles Dickens' David Copperfield, Mr. Peggotty's niece and David's childhood friend. In the book, Emily's character embodies tainted purity, a fallen angle, tempted and lured away by James Steerforth. After all the years of playing Satan, the snake finally gets the role of Eve.
Emily gets in a big yawn before going for a drink. As is true of this picture, she frequently stretches her chops after taking a meal.
